Yep. Totally real.

These hats continue a trend in our “merch” lines that finds us grappling with the question, isn’t merch kind of weird? What if you could own an object that says the name of company, that specializes in a type of work or manufacturing that this object isn’t?

And just like always, our answer to that is, “well, maybe we could try to sell you something that is practical, has our name on it, but is visually disorienting and hopefully self-defeating in ever raising awareness of our operation.”

Case in point: a hat. Everybody needs a hat. We need a hat. Some of us are losing them fibers that grow out the top of our heads and very much so gotta protect da domes. Heck, maybe YOU need a hat. And if you have a reason… if you NEED to buy a hat, you can buy this one. It has our name (as designed by the one and only Julian Birchman) superimposed over itself in different colors. It’s great. From afar, no one can tell what it says or if it says anything (your secret is generally safe) but when you get really close (close enough to dance, kiss, or at least give each other an airborne novel virus…) the name becomes slightly more legible.

JOKER- Lilac with black and green thread.
DAN MARINO- Teal with orange and white thread.
JETSKI- Teal with pink and dark blue thread.
NIGHTWING- “Breen” with orange and white thread. (Breen’s kind of a dark blue green. Like the water in Venice, obviously).
